Dr. Theodore Parsons was born July 31, 1751 in Byfield, Massachusetts. At Harvard, Parsons served as president of the Speaking Club. He publicly debated against the morality of slavery with Eliphalet Pearson (Harvard AB 1773) at his graduation in 1773.
